We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the remarkable success of our 2024 inaugural Youth Medical Scholars Apprenticeship Program at Alain LeRoy Locke College Preparatory Academy / Green Dot Public Schools. The dedication and enthusiasm of our parents, students, staff, and leadership were crucial in achieving this milestone, culminating in our first Youth Medical Assistants Program graduation ceremony on August 1, 2024. We celebrate this achievement together!
We are also immensely thankful to the California Department of Labor, California Department of Health Services, Green Dot Public Schools, and the entire Health Care Integrated Services Team for their invaluable support and collaboration. These partnerships have been essential in enhancing the health, education, and future career pathways of our students.
As Stephen R. Covey wisely advised, “Begin with the end in mind.” This principle guided our efforts throughout the development of the 2024 inaugural Youth Medical Scholars Apprenticeship Program. With a clear vision for the future, we successfully launched this initiative at Alain LeRoy Locke College Preparatory Academy / Green Dot Public Schools.
This is not goodbye but rather the beginning of our continued journey together. Milestone 2 of our pipeline program marks the start of a new chapter as we follow each of our fellowship graduates through their secondary education, college, trade school, universities, interviews, employment, and even military service. Our mentor-mentee relationships will continue to flourish.
Our entire Health Care and School-Based Team is committed to supporting every step of this journey. Thank you for being an integral part of this ongoing adventure.
